MARY SAXON
Talented and tenacious; There IS Something About Mary. One, she loves representing her talent. Two, she’s relentless in regards to getting her clients amazing work. Knowing Mary’s backstory, one is not surprised to find her at the intersection of artists and great storytelling. The foundation for Saxon’s career in entertainment begins with a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre (with honors) from UC-Santa Cruz plus a Graduate degree from London and The Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art. Moving to Los Angeles, Saxon produced critically acclaimed theatre, made guest appearances on television, and produced films for SHOWTIME. Attracted to the quick turnaround time for TV commercials, Saxon delved into advertising, introducing numerous directors while growing their careers into A-list talents. Ten years ago, predicting the coming demand for streaming content, she opened Saxon + Partners Presents, optioning and developing a slate of feature films and television series. No matter the size of the screen, Mary applies a high taste level of great characters, storyline and production that always exceeds expectation.
CARISSA DEAK
Marketing Director Carissa Deak graduated from Pepperdine University with degrees in theatre and music. She has backgrounds in various aspects of the entertainment world both in front of the camera and behind the scenes. Her love of storytelling as well as growing up in the advertising industry gives her a passion and eye for the commercial art form. She began her career in marketing as an assistant rep with Finn Saxon Represents. Along with being Marketing Director for Saxon + Partners, Carissa works as a Development Producer for Delaware Pictures and their diverse library of genres containing screenplays, books, and limited series.
